Amelia The Wardrobe offers a curated rental collection of antique, kundan, and bridal jewellery designed to let you wear statement pieces for weddings, receptions, celebrations, and photography without having to purchase them. All rental services are governed by the terms below.
1. Rental Booking & Reservation
- Rental jewellery is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability for your chosen event dates.
- We recommend booking well in advance, particularly during peak bridal seasons.
- Valid government-issued photo ID proof and a refundable security deposit may be required prior to dispatch or boutique collection.
2. Rental Period & Return
- The rental duration begins on the agreed pickup/delivery date and ends on the agreed return date.
- Jewellery must be safely packed and returned on or before the scheduled return date in the same condition in which it was provided.
- Late returns may be subject to additional daily rental charges until the pieces are returned and verified by our styling team.
3. Care & Handling Instructions
- Customers are responsible for treating rental jewellery with gentle care.
- Keep jewellery completely away from water, perfumes, hairsprays, deodorants, moisturizers, and cosmetics to avoid discoloration or damage to plating and stones.
- Always store each piece in the provided protective boxes or pouches when not in use.
4. Damage, Loss & Breakage Policy
- Every rental piece is thoroughly inspected, photographed, and sanitized before handover.
- Upon return, all items undergo a detailed condition inspection.
- Any missing stones, breakage, bent metal, chemical discoloration, or loss of accessories will incur repair or replacement charges deducted from the security deposit or billed to the customer.
5. Cancellation of Rental Bookings
- Cancellation of a jewellery rental booking should be requested as early as possible.
- Once the jewellery has been dispatched, collected, or handed over to the customer, the rental booking cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Advance booking deposits are subject to the specific cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
6. Hygiene & Sanitization Guarantee
Every piece in our bridal and rental collection is meticulously sanitized, cleaned, and professionally inspected between rentals to guarantee pristine presentation and hygiene.
